NATIONAL GLASS GROUP has expanded its membership to five companies, with the introduction of Romag and Supaseal, part of the Saveheat Group of companies.
The two companies join founder members Clayton Glass, Custom Glass and Northern Express Glass to give the buying group a combined turnover of over £50million and annual purchasing exceeding £15million, making it the largest independent buyer of sheet glass in the UK.
Beyond its purchasing power, NGG also promotes best practice and shares the value created among members. Its goal is to build the group to represent 25% of flat glass purchases in the UK, through organic growth of the members and through the introduction of new companies to the organisation.
Ryan Green, co-director of NGG said: “We’re delighted to introduce Romag and Supaseal, both of whom will benefit from our purchasing power, but also shared practices, as members look to improve business operations. Since our inception 18 months ago, we’ve added considerable value to members and are actively looking for new companies to join the group and realise the commercial benefits it has to offer.”
