Fire door added

EUROGLAZE has begun fabricating the new Rehau Agila fire door, alongside its existing manufacture of the Rehau Rauferno fire rated window.

The fabricator’s technical and fabrication teams received training from Rehau in preparation for the manufacture of the new AGILA fire doors, and it has now been successfully integrated into the company’s lean manufacturing operation.

Martin Nettleton, Euroglaze’s Managing Director, first saw the new fire door at the FIT show in April and was keen to start manufacturing as soon as it had completed its accreditations to 30 minutes fire rating in both top and sidelight combinations.

The Rehau Agila fire door incorporates an intumescent strip which expands in heat to combine with the reinforcement and the door panel to create a fire rated barrier.
