UK and Scandinavian remit

REHAU has announced the appointment of Henry Simms as its new Facilities Officer.
As part of the role, he will overlook operations within the companys UK and Scandinavian sites (Sweden, Denmark and Norway), including overseeing site acquisitions, taking control of lease hold management and monitoring the health and safety remit within these regions.
He joins Rehau from Cardiff Community Housing Association most recently as a Projects Manager (Maintenance).
Henry said: “The health and safety of a business is very important to customers today and I am confident that my knowledge in this area will help support the business as it drives forward. In addition to this, I am also keen to improve areas of compliance across all Rehau sites and am already looking at introducing a minimum standard requirement from all supplier stakeholders to ensure continuity in the premium quality of all Rehau‘s products.“
, Rehau administration manager Paul Sabel said: “Henry brings valuable know-how to Rehau and will be an asset to our team. His knowledge in Construction Design and Management (CDM), lease hold management and health and safety will be invaluable as we look to expand our network and define more innovative solutions for our customers.”
Henry holds a BSc(Hons) Building Maintenance & Management from the University of Wales Institute Cardiff, and is also Certified Member of the British Institute of Facilities Management (CBIFM). He is further certified as a Chartered Construction Manager (MCIOB) and a Chartered Building Engineer (MCABE) (C.BUILDE).
