Synseal Acquires K2 Brands and Assets
1st May 2012

Synseal Extrusions Ltd has today acquired the assets of K2 Conservatories Ltd for an undisclosed sum.

David Leng CEO of Synseal said: “The trading brands of the Celsius Glass and K2 are well respected and successful. Brand loyalty is something we are keen to maintain and we will continue to invest in them to secure future growth.

This is an important addition to our launch earlier in the year of Global Glasstm and means we can now be highly efficient in the production of both roof and window glass, in turn helping our customers to compete more effectively.

The business will continue to trade with the current sales structure and from the existing site. I am delighted that Sally Fielding will remain with the business to ensure a smooth transition and to help to retain and develop the key brand values”.

Sally Fielding commented “K2 has been part of my life for many years and I am confident that Synseal will retain the K2 brand identity through its loyal network of customers. I believe that our existing and new customers will enjoy tremendous benefits through the investment and support of Synseal”.

Enquiries for K2 roofs and Celsius Glass should continue to be directed to existing contacts.
