UK WINDOW SYSTEMS GIVES CUSTOMERS THE EDGE ON BFRC RATINGS
Stoke based trade fabricator UK Window Systems has stepped up its commitment to the BFRC Energy Ratings scheme with an announcement that it is to offer B rated windows as standard with no price premium for customers.
UK Window Systems achieved A, B and C ratings for windows manufactured in the REHAU Edge PVC-U system in July 2008 and originally offered C rated windows as standard.
Now, however, it says that with consumers and local authority specifiers placing such emphasis on the energy performance of the windows they choose, only a B rating is sufficient to differentiate its windows in the marketplace.
Gary Beech, a director at UK Window Systems, says: “The market for BFRC rated windows has expanded even more quickly than most people predicted. We are aiming to stay ahead of that market and to give our customers the opportunity to win more business.
“We believe that a B rating will help them to do just that, and of course, we are still also offering A rated windows as an additional option.”
UK Window Systems offers A, B and C rated windows in the standard REHAU Edge frame in white or foiled finishes with full reinforcement.
The company manufactures between 250 and 300 frames per week for the trade market across the UK. It is also one of the leading manufacturers of REHAU Dimension conservatory roofs. |
