Emplas installer Global Windows has converted its former factory in Sheffield into a new 180sqm showroom following a decision two years ago to cease manufacturing and focus on domestic installation.

Managing director Liam Hulme explained: “Up until March 2020, we were also a manufacturer of windows, uPVC bi-folds and patio doors, serving to both the trade and domestic markets.

“But we since decided to serve the domestic market only, and invested in converting our factory into a state-of-the-art showroom. “We are incredibly proud of our new showroom – it’s been a long time coming for Global Windows, and we’re delighted with the result.”

As well as a range of Emplas and Residence Collection products as well as integral blind systems, the showroom is also equipped with touchscreens that customers can use to create their own door and request a quote.

The company is the winner of three GGP Installer awards over the past two years, as well as finalist in the 2021 G-Awards, National Building and Construction Awards, and the Sheffield Star Small Business Awards.
