Mul-T-Lock UK has launched a new MTL300 Break Secure 3XP retrofit cylinder

for PVCu doors.

The new cylinder is tested to meet Sold Secure Diamond SS312 Standard, and is said to surpass the British Standard Kitemark BS EN 1303:2015 test ten times over.

Jamie Jagpal, product manager – mechanical, said: “Snapping of locks and similar attack methods have become a top concern. MTL300 Break Secure 3XP is the latest addition to our specialist cylinder range. The intensity to which it has been tested and survived prolonged attack methods, means locksmiths can be confident of achieving the latest security standards, and in turn, peace of mind for their customers.”

The new cylinder is based on the company’s Integrator XP technology which was said to be the first ‘cylinder-only’ solution to be accredited to the highest level at BSI Kitemark TS007 3* standard, developed by the Door and Hardware Federation (DHF) and the Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) in conjunction with Secured by Design, the Police preferred specification.

The cylinder is available on the MTL300 series, also offering patented key protection that can be created into a master key system, keyed alike to create a one-key house or key differed depending on requirements.
