Freefoam has shown the potential of its Fortex cladding with a garden room transformation by registered installer C J Davies & Sons Property Maintenance of Swansea.

Owner Chris Davies and his team used Fortex in Storm Grey on this stand-along building as well as Freefoam fascias, soffits and guttering.

Chris has seen demand for cladding develop over the last few years. He explained: “We don’t get a big call for cladding in Swansea on houses, more for garden-room type projects. But in nearby Mumbles, which is a seaside resort, cladding has grown in popularity and there are more properties with cladding on the front of them.

“Colour has become very important to customers, and it’s great to see Freefoam improve in this area over the years. The range of colours tend to be available now in both Weatherboard and Double Shiplap cladding, which is great for our customers.”

Speaking of that installation along with another similar one completed recently, he said: “We prefer to fit Freefoam cladding. It’s very durable, has a great range of colours and the guarantee that comes with it from Freefoam is a real benefit too. But, importantly, both customers preferred Freefoam’s Fortex cladding as well. They were both ecstatic with how it all turned out – we have even gone on to do other work for one customer, as he was so pleased with the job we did.”

Chris uses Freefoam stockists Atlantic Cladding and Roofbase Swansea for all his cladding supplies.

Colin St John, Commercial Director at Freefoam, says: “Over the past two years, we have all been making more of the space in our homes and gardens and Freefoam cladding is a perfect way to transform a garden room or revitalise a tired property.”
