Era has introduced Hardex Pewter finish heritage hardware for vertical sliding sash windows as part of the Fab&Fix range.

Developed to replicate traditional iron forged hardware, the Hardex Pewter finish reflects the appearance of aged pewter, whilst the Hardex coating gives a robust and hard-wearing surface.

The finish is available across Fab&Fix’s choice of traditional and contemporary sash window furniture, which includes knobs and tilt latches, locks and keeps, sash handles and travel restrictors.

In addition, three unique security cam lock styles have been designed to provide standards for a PAS 24 compliant window, while matching bottom sash knobs complement each individual style.

Hardex Pewter is one of nine finishes available for vertical sliding hardware, which also includes Hardex Bronze, Gold, Satin, Chrome, Graphite, Antique Black; White and Black.

Product manager James Wilson said: “We recognise that the smallest of details can enhance the quality and value of sash windows, which is why we have introduced this new heritage finish to support our fabrication partners in delivering on both visual appeal and performance.

“Pewter hardware works beautifully with the traditional sash aesthetic and the finish can be used across all windows and doors throughout a property with complementary hardware lines from the Fab&Fix range.”
