Origin has opened ‘the Ark’, a new 55,000ft2 warehouse facility.
The new space, consisting of two units in Bicester, will be used by the fabricator’s supply and logistics teams to stock additional volumes of aluminium profile and components to maintain the business’s daily production at its manufacturing facility in High Wycombe.
Managing director Daniel Baker said: “As many people will already know, we work very hard to create strong relationships with our supply chain, and we have invested heavily in additional stock, futureproofing us and our Partners against any uncertainty down the line.
“Our investment in this new facility is the latest demonstration of our commitment to them and their businesses, ensuring they continue to receive our products no matter the demand or situation.
“We hope that with The Ark up and running, we can accelerate our Partners’ businesses, whilst also reaffirming Origin’s position as one of the best manufacturers in the country.”
