Deceuninck Aluminium has added a new French Door option to its Decalu88 range.

The Decalu88 French Door, is built around a common inner frame and mid-section, and integrated insulation used in its Decalu88 Aluminium Bi-fold. It also shares the same pre-inserted, flush to the bead, co-extruded gaskets, aimed at delivering significant installation efficiencies on site.

Business development director Nigel Headford said: “One of the many advantages of the Decalu system is modularity. It’s been designed to minimise stock-holding and maximise manufacturing efficiencies, delivering anywhere up to a 40% time saving.

“The Decalu88 French Door uses the same profile as the Decalu88 Bi-fold, delivering fabrication gains but also a consistent aesthetic to the end-user.”

It can accommodate individual sash weights of up to 150kg, with U-values as low as 1.1W/m2k. In common with the wider Decalu range it is available in any RAL finish, including dual colour, textured and marine grade finishes as standard.

Also in the Decalu range are the Decalu88 Aluminium Entrance door, which employs a patented thermal stress control system to all but eliminate bowing, and the Decalu163 Lift-and-Slide, which can accommodate sash weights of up to 400kg, and with single, twin and triple-track options.

The Deceuninck Aluminium range also includes Decalu 88 Steel and New Steel, designed to replicate steel commercial windows; plus a hidden sash and retro option. There’s also a turn-and-tilt option and the ultra-energy efficient, Decalu101 Scand.
