Alutech has added an extra 17,000 sqft of warehousing to its West Yorkshire premises, bringing the total to 62,000sqft to stay ahead of growth which it says put 50% on sales volumes last year.
The new facility will support all parts of the business, specifically housing sectional garage doors, the manufacturing of sectional doors and storage of garage door automation.
Managing director Steve Hudson explained: “One of our biggest USPs, in addition to customer support, has always been our ability to hold huge amounts of stock in the UK. This, and our own fleet of delivery vehicles, is what allows us to offer an industry-leading 5-day delivery on stocked product.
“As the business has grown, thanks to our hardworking team and the support of our customers, it is essential that we continue to be able to hold stock of the products our customers want and make way for the exciting new products that are in the pipeline.”
