Rocal Group, which includes Endurance Doors as well as Rocal Extrusions, Rocal Foiling, Rocal Insulating Panels, Rocal Indoor and Rocal SIPs, has been acquired from previous owners James and Sandra Longley by its existing management team led by MD Stephen Nadin.

The team, also comprising group accountant Alison Jenkin, operations director Garry Brewin and production director Kevin Ashe, say the move will see a continuation of the group’s business strategy and sustained investment programme to support further growth.

Rocal Group is made up of three parts: Endurance Doors, supplying solid timber core composite doors to over 1,000 UK installers; Rocal Extrusions, manufacturing plastic extrusions, decorative wrapping and secondary operations which also support the Endurance Doors product proposition; and Rocal Door Panels, with the brand names of Aboda and Impressions.

The transaction was completed by the management team on the 2ndMarch with financial guidance from Forrester Boyd, legal advice from Bridge McFarland LLP and financial support from Aldermore Bank PLC.

Stephen Nadin said: “We are genuinely elated with the deal, which will allow us to continue with our long-term business plan.

“This will enable continued investment across all aspects for the group’s business, including Endurance Doors and importantly offers greater long-term stability for employees, customers and business partners.”
