Ultraframe has unveiled a new slimline ridge among a number of other recent developments for its Classic conservatory roof system. Thermally broken and available in either PVC or aluminium externally, the new ridge is available on fixed and double-ended 25° Georgians.

Marketing director Alex Hewitt said: “The ridge has a stunning minimalist, modern look and instead of the usual round Classic radius end, it features a neat lantern-style ridge end. The external aluminium option will make Classic the ideal conservatory roof choice to suite with the aluminium doors that now feature on so many contemporary conservatory designs and we’re sure that the 30% reduction on Classic Aluminium pricing will make it even more popular!

“The Classic system held the first ever BBA certificate for a conservatory roof system – something that we are very proud to have now held for 25 years. With its new Slimline Ridge, Classic is now perfectly engineered to help create the sleek looks demanded by modern conservatory designs, making it a great choice for contemporary living spaces.”

Other innovations on the Classic system now include a bi-fold Support Beam, Super Bolster, chambered box gutter and Enhanced Structural Design Guide.
