Birmingham-based Performance Window Fabrications supplied and fitted a range of windows designed to be in keeping with the original arched steel windows for the conversion of The Old Chapel in Fazeley, Tamworth, into apartments.

The red-bricked building overlooks the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal, and all the apartments have canal views.

The conversion was one of two projects undertaken by PWF for developer Somerton Jones, along with the conversion of four-storey 1930s Art Deco former Regal cinema into 38 apartments in Lichfield city centre.

PWF managing director Alex Sutherland said: “We’ve really enjoyed working alongside Somerton Jones, helping to transform these two historic buildings and create high quality new homes.

“Our design team and fabricators were challenged to create windows and doors that complemented the heritage of the unique properties. We delivered products that have really enhanced the developments and we are delighted with the results.”
