Veka has announced a new sales management structure following the appointment of Sales Director Neil Evans to Managing Director, which sees current heads of sales Amy Grundy and Matthew Adaway promoted to Divisional Sales Directors.

Each also take on extra responsibilities, with Amy supporting the company’s internal Sales Support & Customer Service function and Matthew leading its national team of Technical Service Engineers. Neil, who steps up to the MD position at the start of the new year, will also keep his board responsibility for the leadership of the sales team.

Amy, who joined in 2007, has been responsible for growing sales in all areas of the business from installer programmes, including Independent Network, to window profile and, in recent years, leading and developing her team. Matthew joined Veka from Velux in 2017, having worked with Neil previously.

The Burnley-based company has also promoted Paul Kennington, current Head of Technical to Technical Director.

Neil said of the changes: “Recognising that the MD role at Veka plc is very much sales focused in the eyes of our customers, I will continue to lead the sales team. That said, with the additional scope of my new role, this is a fantastic opportunity for members of my established strong sales management team to step up and rise to the challenges of their new positions, taking on greater responsibilities.”
