Express Bi-Folding Doors, with its new XP Vision aluminium system, has taken first prize in the Best Glazed Doors category at the self-build industry’s Build It! Awards.
The newest in the company’s aluminium bi-fold door range, the XP Vision was brought to market after two years of research and product development.
The judges felt that it was the first time they had seen bi-fold doors with a big enough glazed area to rival sliding doors for maximising views.
The XP Vision has been designed in such a way that it can replicate large glass panels of sliding patio doors, but with the flexibility to open the entire space for a seamless transition from inside to out.
Managing director Steve Bromberg said: “It is a real privilege to have your products and services recognised as the best in the industry, and receiving an award at Build It! Awards is a big achievement for the whole team.
“We’ve not been able to fully showcase the XP Vision as much as we’d hoped, because of the pandemic affecting our planned exhibitions. Despite the restrictions, demand has been strong, and we’ve completed orders for over 300 sets with really good customer feedback.”
