Slimline aluminium curtain walling from Senior Architectural Systems and its strongest aluminium commercial door systems to date have helped create a fenestration package at a new leisure centre in Bristol.

With fabrication and installation by Elite Aluminium Systems, Senior supplied both its SF52 aluminium curtain wall system and PURe Commercial Door for use at the David Lloyd Leisure Centre in Emmerson Green, Bristol. The new centre, which has been designed by Hadfield Cawkwell Davidson and constructed by main contractor Pellikaan, also holds the accolade of being the 100th David Lloyd club to open in the UK.

Another feature of the main entrance is Senior’s PURe Commercial Door, which is the manufacturer’s largest and strongest aluminium door system to date. Benefitting from the same patented PUR thermal break as the PURe aluminium window system, the PURe Commercial Door can achieve U-Values as low as 0.94 W/m2 K when calculated as a CEN Standard door.

Other internal and external access points have been created using complementary commercial doors options from Senior, with the automatic SD aluminium doors and versatile SPW501 systems completing the package.www.seniorarchitecturalsystems.co.uk
